Question
❌ Sequence trap: 2, 4, 8, 16... must be ×2?
Answer
✅ **Not necessarily!** 2, 4, 8, 16 fits ×2 → next = 32. (Note: "differences doubling +2, +4, +8" is the **same** rule, not a second one.) But it also fits: - Circle regions (Moser): 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 → next = **31** - Add its own digit sum: 16 + 1 + 6 → next = **23** - Any cubic through these 4 terms → next = **30** 💡 Four terms never pin down a rule. Verify against ALL given terms, and treat "obvious" doubling as a guess until the question gives you enough terms.
